About Us
At Coastal Maritime Academy, we provide quality STCW 2010 maritime safety education and training to meet the international growing demand for professionally trained seafarers in the maritime industry. We also care for seafarers who could not attend the physical training classes on ISPS Code Courses due to their busy work schedule. Through our ISPS Online Track, busy seafarers can now apply online for ISPS Code Courses, study at their own pace and earn a recognized certificate from a NIMASA approved maritime training institute.
Profile Background
Coastal Maritime Academy was established by a private-sector-initiative in 2008, with a clear mission of consistently providing qualitative maritime education and training for the ships of the Merchant Navy and allied industries.
The Academy was given approval by the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) to provide education and training on STCW '95 Convention Courses in accordance with the requirements of the Standards of Training, Certification and Watch Keeping for Seafarers, 1978 as amended in 1995 and 2010 Manila Convention with IMO Guidance on Implementation of IMO Model Courses.
We maintain very high standards in service delivery; our training instructors are imminently qualified in their respective disciplines.
